Situated near Lake Merritt in Oakland, we added expansive sliding doors to open up the home's relationship to the backyard, and bring in more natural light to the main living spaces. The layout of the main kitchen, dining and living space was also reconfigured, a new mud room entry from the garage was introduced, and new finishes and fixtures were incorporated throughout the rest of the home.
