CLAREMONT RESIDENCE . OAKLAND

This project for a multi-generational craftsman home in Rockridge received a spatial reconfiguration on the ground floor that included two new bathrooms, and mud room entry, and a playful finish and fixture palette for a young,  active family.

This project entailed replacing a set of existing closets with a new dual function jack + jill bathroom for three kids to share.  The bathroom is split up to include a vanity in one space and a separate toilet and tub space for multiple uses.

A new mudroom with an additional bathroom was also introduced to serve as both a link to the backyard and a landing space for shoes, coats, and bags. This pass through bathroom is also split up to allow for high functionality.

The architectural details speak to the original details in the home, and the introduction of bright colors and joyful wallpaper were inspired by ours clients and their adventurous endeavors. We hope this space serves their family for many years to come.
